CHANNEL ONE
channel One Sound System is one of the UK’s best known and most loved reggae sound systems. Having taken over the running of their father’s sound in 1979, Mikey Dread and his brother Jah T took the sound to local blues parties and dances. Mikey took the name Channel One as homage to the legendary Channel One studio in Jamaica. In 1983, Channel One started playing at Notting Hill Carnival, they have played at Carnival every year since.

SISTERS IN DUB
Sisters in dub are Coventry’s only all-female Sound System, comprised of Danniella Dee, Cherelle Harding, & DJ Kat The Katalyst. all 3 have unique musical journeys. From classical training, gospel, reggae, 2-tone foundations & growing up in sound system families. Representing women in a male-dominated space, Sisters in Dub play a mix of meditative dub, deep roots reggae and energetic steppas!

Simma is the Resident Selector of Hull Dub Club and Brains Behind the 'dub Junction' Record Label - He'll Be Warming Up the Session Armed With a Deadly Dubplate Selection.
