10:40PM - JODIE LANGFORD
Jodie Langford is one of the most compelling voices in Hull’s burgeoning spoken word scene.

Jodie continues to collaborate with Hull’s ‘King Of Electro’ producer Endoflevelbaddie, who has complimented her delivery of socially aware spoken word with a mash-up of dance floor flavours ranging from electro rhythms to DnB beats.

Jodie’s first single I Miss It made an X-Posure Big One by John Kennedy on his flagship Radio X show and was commended by BBC Radio 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq for its honesty and pop sensibility.

9:50PM - EYESORE & THE JINX
Eyesore songs often consist of ugly narratives centred around vile fictional characters. They take loose inspiration from what is happening around them, which has meant in some cases, their made up stories have come true. Predicting the downfall of local public figures aside, their repertoire often centres around the worst of society (the eyesore), but with a playful side (the jinx). This continues through their new material alongside a healthy dollop of self-reflection.

9:00PM - THE LOVING MEMORY
The Loving Memory are a post-punk/shoegaze band from Cleethorpes. They are influenced by bands such as Public Image, Joy Division, My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Loop, Stereolab. They have been well received at shows up and down the country since they began in 2015 including a gig at The Sesh in Hull. After releasing a compilation of demo’s and live recordings last year they are preparing to release their first single this summer.

“Cleethorpes band The Loving Memory create a sound that washes over you like a tsunami. Anybody who has seen these boys play live over the last couple of years will know exactly what we mean and if you haven’t seen them yet then what are you waiting for?” – Theonlinefestival
